Soar Chapel, Llwynhendy – Gymanfa Ganu Festival of Song – 12 November 2012
Matched funding has now been received for the above event making a total of £1,086.18 raised on the night. Thanks go to Soar Chapel, Ysgol y Bynea and Ysgol Bryn Teg for making the evening such a great success.
Michael Cole
On 16th February 2013, Michael Cole, a BA Pilot, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. So far over £1,500 has been raised.
Daffodil Fayre - 14th March 2013
The total of £1,007.84 was raised at the above event.
Afternoon Tea, George Hotel, Burry Port 21st March 2013
£260 was raised at the above event.
Ladies' Section Machynys Peninsula Golf Club
On Friday 12th April Mrs Pat Gravell, Ladies' Captain, presented £1,210.00 to the Hospice Committee. The monies were raised by the ladies of the team with a series of events during the 2012/13 Lady Captain's Year.
Tough Mudder for a Tough Mudder – 4th May 2013
A group of fund-raisers are embarking on a 12 mile, 25 obstacle assault designed by the Special Forces in memory of Peter Bowen, grandfather of one of the participants. Sam Harper is also running 2 half marathons either side of the event. They are aiming to raise £5,000 for Ty Bryngwyn Hospice.
