At Ty Bryngwyn Hospice on 16 June 2022 Mr Andrew Hall (Club Chairman) and Mr Peter Laffan (Vice President) of CP Suburbs presented a cheque for £1,365.00 to the Mr David Craddock (Chairman), Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Fundraisers and Hospice Staff. The Club have worked tirelessly over the last 12 months culminating in their Centenary Reunion evening held at the Selwyn Samuel Centre on 14th May 2022. Over 100 people turned out to celebrate this landmark occasion. Guest Speakers, Terry Boyle and Phil Williams (former professional footballers) and compère Mr Robert Ryder gave of their time freely. Along with ticket sales, a raffle, and the auction of a signed Welsh Squad shirt donated by the FAW (through Mr Ceri Richards and the WWFA) a great deal of money was raised.
Prior to this in early April the Club held a Question of Sport quiz at the Shoreline Caravan Park which raised £150.00. Richard and Heidi Neil, along with Duncan Jones, gave of their time to organise this event. Thank you CP Suburbs for supporting our Charity – we are very grateful.
